My favorite dungeon in Majora's Mask is by far the Rockvale Temple. It's awesome gimmick is that the whole dungeon can flip top to bottom and vice versa, making it basically two dungeons in one. The first time I heard the Lake Hylia theme, when it's restored, I thought of Shrek. It sounds exactly like it should be part of the movie's soundtrack. Anyways, I find the theme for Lake Hylia to be very relaxing and I could listen to it for hours. Toru Minegishi headed the musical compositions of the game while under the supervision of Kōji Kondō. He composed all the field and dungeon tracks.

Ikana is possibly my favorite area in Majora's Mask. The mini-dungeon that is the ancient castle has one of the awesome themes in the game. Being the final compass directions you have to go to to free the giant... Ikana is also the hardest and most epic feeling.

The great soundtrack for Majora's Mask is one of the darkest of the Zelda franchise. It's full of slow atmospheric tracks so imagine my delight when I first got to the Deku Palace and heard its catchy upbeat theme. Minegishi Minami...

Twilight Princess, next to Majora's Mask, is one of the darkest games in the Legend of Zelda franchise. And it has some of the most impressive visuals and music in the series. This is the theme for the Hidden Village where Impaz lives. Like Gerudo Valley in Ocarina of Time, that first time I heard this track I thought that it didn't fit in with the game at all... but it grew on me. Now, I can't think of any other track to accompany the shootout in the abandoned village with Bulblins. It's very fitting and cool.

There's something about Chancellor Cole that I really like. Maybe it's because, to me, he is a cross between the Skull Kid from Majora's Mask and Ganondorf. He's delightfully evil and unapologetic. This is the tune that plays inside the houses in ordon village, after the kids have been ABDUCTED. It also plays in a scene (or two) with the zora prince. btw, those were spoilers ;) I'm not satisfied with this sequence. In fact I'll probably regret uploading this later. I could never get it done to my satisfaction, and it still sounds wrong to me now. Plus youtube's sound (volume) compression has completely butchered it in places. Oh well =/ Composed by Koji Kondo (近藤浩治), Toru Minegishi (峰岸透) or Asuka Ota (太田あすか). Maybe one day we'll find out who. Release the OST, Nintendo.
